Why is this towel so absorbent?

The high 1600 GSM weight means a thick, plush material that can absorb many times its own weight. Despite its compact format, it is absorbent enough that you can dry a larger section of bodywork without constantly wringing it out. The loop structure minimises friction, so drying is quick and pleasant.

Safe for your paintwork

The towel is made from 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. This blend provides softness, durability and safety for delicate paint finishes. The soft edging protects the edges from accidentally scratching the paint.

Applications

The handy 40x40 cm size is ideal for drying door shuts, wheels, sills and other hard-to-reach areas. You can also use it as an auxiliary towel during detailing, in pat-drying, a method of drying by pressing the towel onto the surface, which avoids dragging it across the paintwork.

Step-by-step care

To keep the towel lasting a long time and retaining its absorbency:

• wash at temperatures up to 40°C,
• use a microfibre-specific detergent or a plain liquid detergent without additives,
• never use fabric softeners or powder detergents containing softening agents – they clog the microfibres and permanently reduce absorbency,
• after washing, shake out the towel and dry it in a well-ventilated place, away from direct contact with hot radiators.
